Gary Hale
Gary grew up in sunny, Southern California (Ventura). Up through his early 20's, Gary was all about 2 things – hockey and the rock band he played in. That soon changed when Gary experienced the life change that comes with believing and following Jesus.
Soon after, he made the trek up to Seattle, WA in 2004 to go to Seattle Pacific University. It was there that his passion to serve within the local church came alive through various courses at SPU and his involvement in the local church. Gary never thought he'd be a “church” guy, but God has radically changed his life by calling him into leadership.
After graduating from SPU in 2006, Gary moved down to Elk Grove, CA to intern at First Baptist Church of Elk Grove. His role was to lead high school and college students. As the internship came to a close, Gary came back up to the Northwest to start the student ministries at one of the fastest growing churches in America, which was also the church he was heavily involved with during college – Eastlake Church in Bothell, WA. In the year and a half Gary was there, the student ministries grew to 100 students and over 60 volunteers. It was a miracle right before his eyes! Gary came to High Pointe Church in July of 2009 and is excited about leading students in another church plant!
