TRACK (5th & 6th graders)

TRACK (Truly Righteous and Committed Kids) ministers to pre-teens in grades five and six. Our TRACK team understands that pre-teens are beginning to question and own their own faith, and they need a program tailored just for them. Our desire is to help you prepare your preteen child to become a Christ-centered teen.

In TRACK, your child will:

  • be welcomed into an area that is fun, relationally warm, energetic, and non-threatening.
  • participate in corporate worship that engages preteens. Our worship utilizes live music, pre-recorded music, and a variety of worship activities to connect your child with God.
  • experience the Large Group Teach where a gifted teacher will teach the biblical story in creative ways that address relevant issues in their lives.
  • join Small Group breakouts where kids explore ways to live out the biblical truths. Kids are involved in application-oriented games, conversation, and prayer with their Small Group Leaders.

GANG (monthly small group)

Join GANG (God's Active Next Generation) for games, Bible study, and FUN. This group meets according to gender on the last Wednesday of the month. Get your child signed-up for this by e-mailing Alex.

Alex Van Steen

Whether mountain climbing, kick boxing, loving Jesus, or mentoring children, Alex is a man who is not afraid to do what many men are afraid to do! He's been with HPCC 5th & 6th graders since 2004 and is committed to their spiritual and emotional well-being. Alex attended Golden Gate Seminary and City University and remains intently focused on serving children. He and his wife, Ruth Ann, have recently welcomed a new teenager into their Eatonville home.
