HPC International Missions High Pointe International Missions exists to support the Holy Spirit commissioned initiatives of church planting and discipleship making missionaries throughout the world, and to train, equip, and send High Pointe congregants on strategically selected short term mission trips, and to support called itinerant missionaries to make a career in the international mission field. Read More Extended HPC Family New Life Ethiopia NewLife Ethiopia brings the peace and joy of Jesus to Muslim tribal groups in Ethiopia who have never heard God’s plan for right standing with Him. All missionaries are same tribe, same language, same culture as the people they are reaching. Christian communities and ultimately churches are birthed in villages where there has never before been a Christian presence. Literacy programs, early childhood education, orphan care and various community developments are tangible ways NLE demonstrates God’s love to Muslim people. Kasey Larson Kasey works with Resonate Church located near Western Oregon University. Her ministry is in discipling young women and equipping them to make disciples of their own with hopes that the Gospel would be further spread across campus. She also serves the church as a Graphic Designer on the network creative team. She is passionate about the Resonate Church vision to pursue and minister to college students, but also expand to serving families and anyone in the surrounding community. WIND - Guatemala WIND works in San Juan Cotzal, located in the Western Highlands of Guatemala. They work to demonstrate Christ's love to the families and communities of the rural Guatemala by partnering with them to improve their physical, educational, and spiritual well-bring. Wind - Guatemala Hands Of Hope International - Guatemala Hands of Hope is serving others and making intentional efforts to meet the needs of those around them to build sustainable relationships in such a way to effectively share the Gospel Hands of Hope International Website Temesgen Temesgen is Senior Pastor for a church in Shire, located in northern Ethiopia. He is passionate about evangelism to the predominately Orthodox population. The church had a multifaceted outreach and church-planting strategy working across many villages in the region of Tigray prior to the civil war. At this time the church is in the midst of a warzone and it is unknown how many of the church body are still in the area and how many are refugees. Northern Africa Due to security reasons we cannot post this missionary's name or details about their ministry. Project 92 Project 92 is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) which is committed to relief and development work in emerging countries, and is working especially in South and SouthEast Asia, home to a vast number of ethnic people groups. It is an area of great potential, but with many needs. It is the goal of Project 92 to help alleviate suffering, and to foster long-term development initiatives. Our hope is that lasting, sustainable change will be achieved, increasing the quality of life of individuals, families, communities, and nations at-large. The Marshalls We are the Marshall family serving in East Africa. Jay and Nikki are nurse practitioners using healthcare strategies as a platform for church planting and evangelism. We share the love of Christ by relieving suffering, saving lives and teaching people how to stay healthy. We partner with national churches in evangelism and discipleship working in our people groups heart languages. We are grateful for all the doors God is opening in Africa. WORKSHOPS COACHING RESOURCES Financial Peace University (FPU) A nine-week financial education program created by Dave Ramsey, and offered annually. It focuses on practical strategies for managing money, budgeting, getting out of debt, healthy communication and building wealth through applying biblical principles. The course combines video lessons, group discussions and interactive activities to guide participants toward financial stability and peace. LOCAL MISSIONS Here are a few ways High Pointe is making a difference in our local community! Weekend Food Program HPC partners with Pope Elementary by providing bags of food to kids in need each weekend. We are currently helping 42 kids per week. Volunteers can donate food or time to pack bags. Bethel Outreach Bus HPC partners with the Bethel School District helping to facilitate community outreach events that provide resources to families in need. These pop-up events happen in various places around the Graham/Spanaway area, and provides hygiene items, cleaning products, school supplies, warm clothes, and food. Forge Youth Mentoring HPC partners with Forge to train mentors and match them with at-risks kids. We recognize the difference one intentional relationship can make in the life of a child. Each match is a minimum one-year commitment. Tacoma Rescue Mission HPC partners with Tacoma Rescue Mission to provide and serve meals to the homeless population in Pierce County.
