HIGH POINTE SENDS TEAM TO ETHIOPIA!

Team Serves Remote Church Plants – A team of nine people from High Pointe Church served in two remote church plants, one of them a church built through the generosity of High Pointe. Their time was filled with encouragement, outreach, and learning about the ministry happening in difficult places.

Literacy Program Activities -- Children participating in NewLife’s literacy program enjoyed special math literacy activities that helped them grow in both learning and confidence.
Community Children’s Outreach -- Hundreds of community children came to enjoy fun VBS-style activities filled with games, learning, and Bible teaching.
Women’s Bible Study -- Women gathered for meaningful fellowship and spent time studying the women of the Bible together.

Audio Bibles Distributed – 60 solar-charged audio Bibles in the local language were distributed to women who cannot read, giving many the opportunity to have Scripture at their fingertips for the first time.
Learning About Evangelism Challenges -- The team spent a day at our Bible school learning about NewLife’s evangelism challenges and the plans to bring the Gospel to hard and unreached places.
Missionary Testimonies -- Four missionaries shared their testimonies and spoke about the challenges of bringing the Gospel to regions that are highly resistant to Christianity.

Orphanage Visit -- The babies and toddlers in our orphanage quickly captured the hearts of the entire team!

Praying over Addis Ababa – In groups of 3 or 4, the HP team and the NewLife Ethiopian staff prayed on Mt. Entoto for Ethiopia, the United States, and for the spread of the Gospel worldwide.
